Lords of the Fallen Gameplay

Lords of the Fallen (2023) is considered to be a reboot from the original in 2014. The 2014 version landed a 7.7 industry score. The 2023 version of Lords of the Fallen has earned a 7.3 score. The review scores were in a huge tug of war from several publishers. IGN gave the title a 8, while Gamespot gave it a 5 out of 10. A big publisher gave the game a 9.2 while another gave it a 4 out of 10. It appears you will either hate, like or love the game. The biggest complaint about the Lords of the Fallen (2023) comes with difficult combat.

Third person RPG with melee and magic combat. The game is described to be soulslike(difficult combat where multiple deaths are expected, in exchange for higher player skill and level ups). Over a hundred weapons can be obtained throughout the adventure. Players can create their own character for the storyline with nine classes to choose from. The world is featured in two parallel layers, the top layer is the land of the living, and the bottom layer is the is the land of the dead. The player may use a magical lantern to traverse between the two, which may be required for quest. Each time the player dies, they will respawn in the land of the dead and must traverse to land of living. Co-op mode with one additional player and player vs player online will be available. Lords of the Fallen is a direct sequel to Lords of the Fallen released in 2014 and takes place one thousand years later. The plot involves the player having to overthrow a tyrant named Adyr that is devastating the human race.
